My early interest in photography
When I was a teenager, I saved up to buy a camera. But I had to choose between photography or roller skates so I could spend more time with the girl I liked. I ended up buying both.

The meaning of nature
Connecting with nature is one of the most pleasurable sensations a human being can experience. When you achieve this, everything suddenly slows down. Little by little, you begin to become aware of the sounds around you. Your vision is able to focus on the smallest details: a tiny insect, the sun, and the wind caressing your face. And suddenly, when you connect, without intending to, you realize you're listening to your own breathing.

Choosing nature photography among others
Photography is a means of immortalizing a fleeting, often unrepeatable moment. When viewing the images, I continue to experience the calm and well-being that comes from observing nature in person. But the camera can also be a barrier. When faced with exceptional natural events, I always reserve a few seconds to observe the scene with the naked eye, without using the camera's viewfinder, even if it means giving up photography. It's the most effective way to create memories in the mind.

Nature photography in Mallorca
In 2024, almost 20 million tourists visited the island. Planes, cars, noise, and people everywhere leave very little room for wildlife and pristine landscapes. Nature photography is extremely difficult in Mallorca.

Discovering wildlife outside the island
That would be the easy way out. There are places in the world full of wild species that can be easily photographed. I don't do it. This island is my home. I feel I have a duty to continue photographing the little wild beauty we have left. I feel I have a duty to spread it. Photography has become the tool to help protect my home.
